She is passionate about health and fitness and this passion started in 2009 while training for her first half marathon. Since then, Elise has competed in multiple distance races and triathlons. In 2011, Elise knew she could inspire others with the love for fitness and became NASM certified as a personal trainer and worked full time as an individual trainer and taught group exercise classes. Currently, Elise works full time in her and her husband’s chiropractic office, helping to lead others to greater health, while instructing fitness classes part time. She believes that Functional fitness training is an extremely important part of health and allows the body to be successful in many different fitness areas, but they all come back to the core functional movements.
When not in the gym teaching or training for her next triathlon or marathon, you can usually fine Elise outside spending time with her husband, Dan, at farmers markets, cooking, or shopping or spending time with her friends.

Adam’s passion for fitness began to develop when he returned home to Fort Collins at the end of his collegiate baseball career. Going back to the gym where his family spent a large amount of their time, he took a position as a housekeeper and began working his way up the ladder. The more time he spent in that atmosphere, the more he was fascinated with fitness. What really intrigued him was bodybuilding, especially since his father used to compete. He believes that the process of achieving a desired physique says many things about an individual. A quote that Adam greatly appreciates goes something like this – “A well built physique is a status symbol. It reflects you worked hard for it. No money can buy it, you cannot borrow it, you cannot inherit it, you cannot steal it. You cannot hold onto it without constant work. It shows discipline, it shows self-respect, it shows patience, work ethic, and passion…” Once he began to train and learn the ins and outs a fitness lifestyle, he was hooked. Upon receiving his personal training certification Adam began training clients and sharing his knowledge and experience with others. He loves to continue to learn about every other realm of fitness in order to better his client’s relationships and results. Teaching classes is one of Adam’s many joys in his life and is very happy to be a part of the BFF team. In his free time, Adam loves to play baseball, workout, go to the lake, run his online training business, and eat Mary’s Mountain Cookies.

Sara Poling is a Wyoming native, but moved to Colorado after getting married in 2013. Fitness and being active is her passion. She considers it a joy and privilege to be able to encourage, inspire, and challenge others in whatever season they are in. She specializes in small group fitness and the use of TRX suspension trainers. Her goal is to help others move better and find balance in everyday life while being encouraged and energized.
Her background is in teaching and although she has transitioned to fitness, she continues to love learning new things. In her free time, she enjoys reading, making old things new (aka crafting), wandering flea markets, cook-ing, eating ice cream, running, and spending time outdoors in the beautiful state of Colorado with family and friends.
TJ has always been passionate about health and wellness. She believes exercise is symbolic of life – you have to believe in yourself and your ability to push beyond your perceived parameters to find your inner strength. Only then do you realize truly what you’re capable of! She has been an avid runner and weight-lifter since moving to Colorado in 1998. She enjoys participating in events and activities that challenge her both mentally and physically. She spends her free time outdoors with family and friends. She is a certified Barre Instructor.
Jovanna first experienced the world of yoga during her recovery from an eating disorder in 2007. She was intro-duced to the idea of slowing down, becoming intentional, letting go of expectation, and breathing in positive energy and passion. As she continued practicing her newly found mindfulness techniques she began to share her passions, methods, and story of recovery from anorexia with the community. This is when Jovanna first found her love for teaching and helping others reach their health and wellness goals. In 2014, after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with her bachelors degree in psychology and communications, and having gotten more of a taste for the postural side of yoga, Jovanna received her 200-hour yoga teacher certifi-cation from Elan Yoga in Fort Collins. She has experience both in Vinyasa and restorative styles of yoga.
Jovanna is in the process of completing a Personal Training Certification and hopes to one day be certified in Barre and Pre-Natal Yoga as well. This fall, Jovanna will be returning to school to complete her Masters of Public Health with a concentration in community health education.
When Jovanna isn’t studying, working, teaching yoga, or sharing essential oils, she is spending time with her husband and family, enjoying early morning cups of coffee and a good book, crafting, or searching for deals at thrift stores.

Taylor is a Colorado native who has a deep passion for helping people learn how to care for their bodies trough fitness. Growing up, Taylor’s dad was/is in the business of holistic health, which helped to instill the values of healthy eating and exercise. Starting out, she went to school to become an X-ray technician, and worked in the medical field for 6 years. In 2011 Taylor earned her certification in Pilates Mat training, which helped her stumble on the technique that is now barre. Taylor fell in love with barre, and decided to get certified to teach, and eventually open her own barre studio. In the beginning of 2017 she merged her studio with Brickhouse Functional Fitness, and now teaches barre and TRX barre fusion classes. When not teaching classes Taylor enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband, 3 large dogs, and cat.
Randi first tried a barre class via a fitness video a friend had recommended. She instantly feel in love with the movements and enjoyed the video. She has always loved any kind of dance and this was an amazing way to balance out her high intensity fitness regimen. Several years after trying the video a childhood friend opened a barre studio in Windsor and couldn’t wait to start taking classes. She caught on quickly to the technic and her passion for barre really became apparent.
She has worked hard to learn the ends and outs of becoming an instructor and has become a certified instruc-tor after years of regular classes and getting trained.
