Golden Milk Recipe
We could all use something comforting right now, and this creamy, healthy and delicious beverage is just the ticket! It’s the perfect drink to help you wind down before bed. It also has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that can help boost your immune system, in addition to turmeric being a potent antioxidant. Cheers to your health!
- 2 cups coconut milk, almond milk or cashew milk
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- A pinch black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- Sweetener of choice (i.e. maple syrup, coconut sugar, or stevia to taste)
Options Add ins:
- 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
- Vanilla extract or vanilla bean
Add all ingredients to a pot over medium heat and bring to a simmer.
Simmer for 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Pour into a cup and enjoy.
