The aim of the Gombe TSC Aptitude Test is to select 1000 successful candidates for employment as new teachers.
To streamline the recruitment process for the 1000 new teachers, the commission has completed the transfer of teachers from the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to the Ministry of Education, effective in June.

Update on Gombe TSC Aptitude Test Results
To participate in the aptitude test, all eligible candidates from the 11 local government areas of the state must bring along their application slips, degree certificates, NYSC certificates, and letters of local government indigeneship.
Additonally, Special arrangements have been made for physically challenged candidates.
It is important to note that Gombe State Governor, Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya, authorized the Gombe State Teachers’ Service Commission to continue the recruitment process that commenced in January 2022. This decision was made in April of this year.
As part of the ongoing hiring process, 288 teachers from SUBEB have been transferred to meet the urgent staffing needs of state senior secondary schools and technical institutes. Additionally, the commission plans to hire 1000 new teachers.
