  1.  A basic medical degree, MB, BS, or its equivalent, obtained from a reputable university recognized by the National University Commission (NUC) and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), within the last 15 years from the date of publishing.
  2. Possession of a postgraduate medical qualification from a recognized institution, which must be registrable with the MDCN for the purpose of practising as a Consultant, with at least five years of experience preceding the date of this publication.
  3. Membership in other relevant professional organizations will be advantageous.
  4. Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in clinical tasks, research, and training.
  5. Candidates must have held Senior Administrative positions in healthcare or related organizations for a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
  6. Proficiency in computer skills will be beneficial.
  7. The candidate’s rank should not be below that of a Senior Lecturer or equivalent in Civil/Public Service.
  8. The candidate must have a noteworthy portfolio of medical research and a substantial number of recent academic publications.
  9. A strong and consistent track record of employment, showcasing commitment and dedication throughout their career.
  10. Any additional qualification(s) that may enhance the candidate’s administrative capacity will be considered.
